appuldurcombe house, isle of wight

Anna got ready at her parents house on the Isle of Wight. The whole wedding was set in the stunning Appuldurcombe House in Godshill, an 18th century baroque ruin. They filled the venue with bright pastel flowers. The ceremony took place in the Drawing Room. After an emotional ceremony, we went outside for a confetti and champagne reception. We did the group shots outside the main part of the house and the couple shots inside the ruin, with no roof there was plenty of natural light! The guests had a threecourse sit down meal. A guest from each table was in charge of carving the lamb and each of the chosen 'chefs' wore a chef's hat and apron which created a fun atmosphere! After speeches and the first dance they cut their amazing naked cake which was decorated with perfectly placed flowers!
